If J-20 were to be transported on the road, the plane would have been completely wrapped like 31001. I will have to say this is a model.

PLAAF would never use public roads like the J-31 fiasco.

They use train and rail infrastructure designed by the government for military troop deployment.

If that is not the means of conveyance, it's via boat.

What we saw in those pic might just be a 'toy' aircraft for amusement or theme park... Maybe the chinese is building a military style or inspired theme park in Shanghai.

Hard to say, Huangpu road and Wanda Square can be found in multiple cities

A restaurant advertisement provides the evidence of location. It opens at 6F of "Wanda Square" in Dalian city.

Also they don't bother to model the DSI bump properly (looks like a simple cut through a cylindrical cross section rather than a 3D bump), the actual DSI protrusion shape is probably complicated.

The news leaked with a general - General He Weirong of the PLAAF mentioning that a servicable fleet might be ready as early as 2017.
