The most cliché thing in South-Eastern Germany = Bavaria:
Weisswurst with pretzel, sweet mustard and a beer (you can eat it in Munich in the English Garden underneath the Chinese Tower). Eating the "Weißwurst" correctly is done by "zuzeln" (a rare German word), kind of sucking it and it's the only sausage you do not order in pairs despite being served in numbers of two. There's even the "Weißwurst"-equator dividing the country.
