So according to this the Russians cancelled the Su27 license agreement instead of the Chinese?
Their refusal to disclose the number of Su35s China 'requested' seems interesting.
China probably wouldn't mind paying for a small number to see what new stuff the Russians have done to the Su27 airframe, but I cannot see China willing to buy many.
Apart from the engines, there isn't really anything the Su35 has that would interest China all that much.
No doubt the usual fanboys will have some wet dreams to this, until nothing happens again, like most Russian pronouncements of Chinese potential weapons buys lately.
The S400 would be a different matter tho.
