If qbz95 is designed around the gun barrel. Then the qbz191 is designed around the picatinny rail and what can be attached to it.

PLA soldiers are not cannon fodders but distributed sensor nodes. The gun is not just a weapon and it is really questionable how much casualty can be inflicted by rifles in the wars that the PLA is gonna envision fighting in. The gun is likely a communication/designation stick in the future. As long as a single PLA soldier is alive and holding a point, he is a sensory node that can call on indirect fire much more than what he can personally deliver. Where as before we see PLA trying to cram as much firepower at the squad level, in the future there would be some units where the squad size might even be reduced, and reliance on personally bringing heavy firepower to the fight might be de-emphasized a bit.

I think the Russian/Ukraine war gave people a feel that wars are still about getting people into trenches and filling the lines. I don't think the PLA is gonna fight that way even if they are taking notes, and it would be not wise for other countries to assume that a conflict with the PLA is gonna evolve in that direction.

I thought that shooting 50 rings meant that each soldier got 50 rounds and had to land as many shots on the target as possible. The dude only got perfect score with the qbz-191.

The person mentioned that the recoil during burst fire isn't that different as the qbz-95-1, but the videos I watched of the PAP had the qbz-191 having almost non-existent recoil and muzzle climb, while with qbz-95 they tended to have more violent shaking.

The recoil of the 95 and 191 is almost the same for me, maybe it is the length of the gun and the user's holding position.

Have you tried different gun holding methods, like a C-clamp?

See if the recoil on the 191 rifle feels different. I saw Chinese PAP does that and it's recoil seems smaller than the 95 rifle.
