You joke, but that's really the case here. Saw someone on the pro-China side of reddit coming out and admitting they do this on purpose to keep the westerners underestimating Chinese tech. After seeing that, I wonder just how many of the comments are actually comrades in disguise.
I did not joke. Even willful stupidity must give way to reluctant acceptance eventually, and we crossed that line some time ago.

Surely these vehicles will not be under tarp during the parade?

Picture from late 2021, I suspect this is the same model. The size is about right(Shorter than J-20 but about the same size as J-10 while the model on the truck is estimated to be around 16-17m as well) and the wing shape matches along with the general geometry.
It certainly looks like it. Timing sound about right as well, if it's been in testing since at least 2021 it should be close to or already in service, hence it's presence in the parade.

It may be a hard requirement that all equipment displayed during the parade needed to be manned by a person, so drones even if they are mature enough to flyover never does and instead is displayed on trucks. If they are gonna show off robot dogs and UGVs I expect them to also be displayed on carrying vehicles.
Although, hypothetically, a parade of a robotic platoon (with drones, tanks, etc., which we have seen on the streets) would be epic and historic. Technically, it would not be impossible.
