I wonder why they chose the FH-97 instead of the FH-97AClear images of these CCAs are hard to come by.

All the important ones, the ones that we want to see, are all covered. Only the GJ-11 and a mystery rotary drone had been trucked around naked, but those are hardly exciting, at least not to me.
We don't definitively know that is FH-97.
The planform is generic enough (used by multiple different nations) that it could be an entirely different CCA/UCAV to FH-96 but with a similar design.
What the diff between fh-97 and Fh-97A
You joke, but that's really the case here. Saw someone on the pro-China side of reddit coming out and admitting they do this on purpose to keep the westerners underestimating Chinese tech. After seeing that, I wonder just how many of the comments are actually comrades in disguise.
FH-97 features singular dorsal intake and an internal weapons bay.
FH-97A features dual ventral intakes and a retractable missile rack (possibly modular).
I'm also pretty sure FH-97A is supersonic given the DSI intake
