:oops:

Old Americans, they love their stereotypes.

Their world will implode if they do not have them, lol.

Kind of a very curious video.

:cool::rolleyes:

He claims there’s a path for the US and China but it seems to involve both countries policing the world. It’s hard to believe he got that impression from the Chinese because unlike Americans, Chinese account for all the consequences which Americans only see power for themselves and don’t think about it. Also like the US will be okay with China policing their own interests where the US doesn’t have a say or does he think China has to do what the US wants only in the guise for what’s best for the world as usual…? That’s why it’s hard to believe.

Why do South Koreans dislike China so much?

I was randomly browsing the sports section of Naver for non-football/baseball related stuff and here was the headlines.

Note that they had to put this story twice. Apparently An Se-young losing to Chen Yufei (who's an Olympic gold medalist btw) is just so shocking I tell you. Prior to this they were mocking Chen Yufei for "barely" beating India's PV Sindhu (who is a double Olympic medalist btw). Guess they don't understand that facing and overcoming adversity in a difficult manner builds strength and form.

Also in the other story on the Korean men 4x100 relay team, they just had to take a swipe at China too saying they had a better time than them in the heats (which means crap since you want to conserve your energy for the big stuff on the finals)

Right now is the 2025 Asian Athletics championship held in Korea. And from

, you can see China is kicking ass.

Imagine growing up as a Korean, outside football and baseball, great Corea seems to be lacking in many sporting areas. Why? Because of evil Chyna and their great wall constantly blocking us! If they didn't exist we would be the ones on top!

Chinese netizens often put South Korea and India together. If you look at this case, you kinda get why. Both have this butthurt energy saying if Chyna wasn't there then they would be the big boss getting all the respect!

Japan also demonstrates jealously. But not to the same degree. Why? Coz they were on top at one point in Asia. Thats just a hard fact. So they have the confidence and experience of one.
Speaking of Asian athletics, Arshad Nadeem has to be the most hated person in India right now. First stole India's gold in 2024 Olympics by beating their champ (leaving them with 0 golds) and now rubbed it in again. Given that India needed a win after Sindoor, one can say Pakistan is 3-0 in high profile fights against India in a recent time frame.

2025 has thus far been awful for Indian soft power and the best part is that we are just half way through the year...

The Americans don't want a decentralized world because they'll be one of many great powers in it and they won't get to boss others like they used to. However some realists are seeing the writing on the wall and they realize unipolarism is just not sustainable, even Trump and his delusions is starting to see this. So what some of them want is to split the world in two and let both China and the US have their spheres of influence, this allows them to consolidate power, forge stronger military and economic alliances and then go at China at a later time. In short, they want to run the old Cold War playbook because they figured since we won that one we can win another one fighting the same way. They'll present this enticing offer to China because they think the Asian thinks like the European who is constantly looking for subjects to dominate.

I'm not Chinese and I'm not a member of the CPC but from what I can see I don't believe the Chinese leadership wants a bipolar world, it doesn't serve China's long term interests. I believe they want to decentralize the world and dilute the US and the west's power within it. You can still be influential but the days of one country or a small group of countries that will sit down and decide what others should do, what forms of government to practice, what economic model to adopt, etc should come to an end. The world should be multilateral, where sovereign countries deal with each by other conducting mutually beneficial deals and nations can be members of different groups with overlapping interests. I think the Chinese leadership has learned lessons from the Cold War and is adamant not the repeat the same mistakes the Soviet Union made.
