It just so happens that my cable has CCTV9. So I watched the whole thing on my 42' plasma

BTW, I noticed that those tanks and IFVs all had visible smoke coming out of the exhaust. Is this normal?

I still don't get it why the female militia wore the little red skirt, cute but very un-military, IMO.

I also noticed that Hu got visibly more excited when the female soldiers marched by...

I really liked the part where Hu Jintao drove by the troops in his pimp new Red Flag and shouted stuff.

I agree that the rifle moves were very striking in the 1999 parade, they were sorely missed this year.
