The Brotherhood is not actively fighting the Tatmadaw. The current fighting is further north, and the result of KIA offensives. The Shan border is relatively peaceful compared to the Kachin border.

Surprised I haven't seen any discussion on the latest news. Apparently there are rumors going around on the internet that that PLA destroyed 3 KIA battalions on May 2nd using drones.

The source is these rumors seem to be three purported posts from Weibo:

Just rumors, Guanqi also debunked the rumors on its latest episode.

I saw them and thought they were so obviously fake that it was not worth mentioning here.
