As usual transporting "air"

Honestly I would rather see a fully loaded Type 726 going into and out of a well deck than seeing a launch of a Type 071 LPD

Actually I would rather see if they can/plan to load two columns of jeeps at a time.

Finally seeing some larger exercises...now with three Type 026 LCACs at once.

But still nothing substantial loaded in those LCACs.

I want to see two Type 071s with six LCACs, landing small tanks, APCs, Jeeps, and lots of troops.

Or better yet, three Type 071s with seven or eight LCACs carrying a lot of equipment and soldiers to the beaches.

I just want to see one 071 loaded with four 726s....

I can only count three of them...

That is the most IO have ever seen in one Type 071 well deck...and that is nice.

However, the point remains...THEY ARE NOT CARRYING ANYTHING!

Has to make you wonder. They are clearly building more of them now...but I want to see them loaded and carrying the types of amphibious assault loads that would make them effective.

Having LPDs and LCACs is only good if they can move a lot of men and equipment from ship to shore. That's what they were built for.

That a lot of helos...nd they clearly did not all come from two or three LPDs.

So, we're seeing a Joint Operation that is probably working with more distant land bases along with the LPDs.

Each of those LPDs might put three loaded...ma of four loaded helos onto the landing area. Also two or three LCACs..again, a max of four each.

But we have not seen any of their LCACs loaded with mechanized equipment yet

Anyhow, doing a Joint Op is a good thing to exercise and test as well...and that's what we are seeing here.
