I think Blitzo is probably right about the Z-11s as ISR and light transports. Anything that requires rockets, missiles, and bombs will probably be handled by the PLAx.
I have watched video in which PAP used flame throwers against terrorists in a hole in a mountainous place in (presuming) Xinjiang. I have also seen videos that PAP throw hand grenades into a house in a village killing every terrorists inside, the owner of the house has managed to leave. So PAP using some heavy weapons such as rockets and bombs or even missiles won't surprise me. After all with civilian out of danger, the only thing PAP concerns is its soldiers' life, size and cost of the weapons is secondary.

Indeed, the PLA already fields some impressive firepower, and they won't be hamstrung by silly rules or laws if they do want to buy some of the weapons packages along with their Z11s.

I don't see them buying the AAMs or AShMs, but rockets pods, machine gun pods and even ATGMs are probably a good bet.

I think the mini-drone in particular will be high on their wish list.

Given what is happening in the Middle East, I think the PAP will be looking to upgrade their boarder protection and patrol capabilities in particular.

The Z11 and even armed drones will be especially useful for patrolling the remote boarder regions of China's western boarders.

If the PAP is flying COIN missions against infiltrating jihadis in those remote boarder areas, you can bet they will be armed so they can engage any targets of opportunity they find which ground forces may not be able to intercept in time.

A holographic? demonstration of launching Chang'e spacecraft by LM-5. What impressed me is the application of holographic computer imaging. I remember seeing in this forum a futuristic battle-field management of similar settings. It was only a placard description. But now it is real.
