These models are usually made to look identical to the real deal, down to very specific details. Furthermore models of the CJ-1000 from previous shows showed metallic rather than composite blades, which further suggest an actual change in the fan material.
It's titanium alloy fan blade, cj-1000 is targeting same power as leap-1c but less efficiency
It’s *supposed* to be hollow titanium fan blades, but what’s in that model is *not* what titanium fan blades look like. And this is all the more conspicuous because models from previous shows clearly show fan blades that *do* look like titanium fan blades.
If it is a carbon fiber, it is not a big supprise, China is a big player in this area, but this kind of major feature change would be announced during the show, so just wait for the news
There was *some* news of carbon fiber fan blades being ready for use on the CJ-1000 from around 2019, but don’t think the sourcing on that was ever corroborated. Tbh I kind of suspected that movement in this direction could happen, but this model seems to provide some level of confirmation. Agreed that we’ll see if there are any announcements, and if so what the actual details are, but this particular serial of this model is very peculiar.
AMM-10, is that the export version of PL-15?
Good to have the video, but I don't think the presenter specifically talked about AMM-10, unless I missed something.
Unless the idea is that AMM-10 was in the same rough area where SAMs were being exhibited therefore implying AMM-10 is a SAM?
