I thought you were another Dr. Asif Iqbal of my slight acquaintance - he studied in China and is an engineer of some distinction (you can look him up, I believe he's in EMU in Turkey as of even date). The name is lucky to have so many august persons called same.

I think you are a bit confused about default condition and null hypothesis. The fact that you brought up the doctrine of presumption of innocence into a debate about logic tells me that. There's nothing wrong with questioning everything, but you ought to be careful about setting default conditions unconsciously.

United Technologies Corp and two of its subsidiaries sold China software enabling Chinese authorities to develop and produce their first modern military attack helicopter, U.S. authorities said on Thursday. At a federal court hearing in Bridgeport, Connecticut, United Technologies and its two subsidiaries, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Hamilton Sundstrand Corp, agreed to pay more than $75 million to the U.S. government to settle criminal and administrative charges related to the sales.

As part of the settlement, Pratt & Whitney Canada agreed to plead guilty to two federal criminal charges - violating a U.S. export control law and making false statements. The charges were in connection with the export to China of U.S.-origin military software used in Pratt & Whitney Canada engines, which was used to test and develop the new Z-10 helicopter...

i wonder how much did they profit from this, the $75mil fine was shrugged off just like that, must be making hundreds

good thing the WZ-10 had already finished development and now flying in flocks

Jet engines are not that profitable unless they're mass produced, especially considering those are smaller turboshaft engines, which are not that expensive compared to real high end jet engines. The cooperation only lasted a short period, so they wouldn't have sold that many units, apart just providing a few for prototype tests. The only other possible route they have for making money is through consulting. But this is a very low profit approach, as they are paid in man-hours instead, the company can only make a bit overhead.
