you see the official article said that WZ-10 seems not deployed yed, and the official photo totally diferent, so I doubt those pictures.

Apparently, Z-10 has entered service in Nanjing MR. Too bad we can't see the longbow bulb on the mast from that angle.

Hmm.... wonder if this means China will build an LHD?

WZ-10 ,correct me is 5 ton AH ,belong the same class as Bell AH-1W ,mast mounted radar may require more powerful turbine engine,(this may be reason why US marine AH-1W do not carry longbow radar mast)best solution is enlarge version of WZ-10 bring her to 10 ton range same AH-64 or MI-28

The R&D being done for turboshaft engines may just make that sooner than most would have considered. Many Turbomeca engines are a good example of weak engines developing into very powerful ones, so the Chinese R&D guys doing the same for the WZ-9 engine makes sense.

They are not related. Z-10 is not a navalized helicopter. Also, LHD is going to be fielding Z-8s, Kamovs and Z-9s

If China builds an LHD, they'll have to navalize the Z-10, or some other helo like the Z-9. An LHD without attack aircraft is basically an enlarged, glorified LPD without the traditional capabilities of LHD's, i.e. airborne attack.
