@KampfAlwin same here bro, and also the combat management and control system, I had seen inside photo of YUAN and I'm not impress compared to the European Sub, the placement of those consoles and the ergonomics design is lacking, hope in this new sub those concern had been rectify.

I think you may have mistaken photos of the Song for the Yuan class submarine. I maybe wrong but the Chinese are very careful when it comes to showing stuff like these, cheers bro.

Well, replacing the Ming class is a given. So a dozen or so. (depending on how many are actually left in service) Of course, longer term replacements may also include Song and some of the Kilos. But by then, approaching the 2030s, we may also see overall number of conventional subs in the fleet drop, in favor of more nuclear subs.

Though, depending on just how complex this new variant is, it may still take a few years until full scale serial production begins. It may be that first full trials will be waited for before multiple boats are laid down.

Wondering about the chinned or notched sails....

New notch sail design on "039C" also points to the sighting of notch sail on the "093A" to not be a fluke and that there is a new design trend going on. The main difference is where on the sail the notch is, low on the 093A and high on the "039C", but somewhat on the middle on the A26.

The placement of the notches as well as their slopping should give some insight into the designed cruise speeds of the respective subs, as the notching is designed to help reduce flow noise generated by the sail displacing water.

As a general rule, the higher the notch, the faster the design speed, which makes sense since 039Cs have AIP, which should give greater endurance and speeds compared to battery power alone or even earlier end AIPs.
