The sole reason China is a regional military power is that it can nuke out Japan, South Korea and India all in one hour, and there is nothing they can do about it.:nono:India and Japan don't have the kind of blue water navy like the U.S., no body does. But they do have limited blue-water capabilities. India operates a carrier battle group, which is the hallmark of a blue-water navy. Japan also operates a large fleet with helicopter carrier, they also operates the largest destroyer fleet in Asia (Japan has almost twice as many destroyers as PLAN). India, Japan, South Korea, and even Thailand all operates a small aircraft carrier; PLAN, has none.
So please don't just assume China is some sort of regional military power just because of its size and population, they have many technical issues to overcome before becoming a regional military power.
