Some said the convoy was led by Diosdado Cabello, one of Maduro's inner circle
Here's a thought. The VP is refusing to bow and the same people in Maduro's inner circle who sold him out (military as the traitor seems like a solid bet) are now moving in to seize the government. So we'll see a US-controlled military junta in Venezuela.

Or it could be the VP and her brother, who sold out Maduro and now Maduro loyalists are finally taking out the traitors.

What does a successful coup change? Based on post OP bda much of the AA around the capital were destroyed by US air strikes, whatever new head honcho they choose to put into place is just as liable to get bombed as long as they don't tow the US line.

Either coup happened, or they are shooting at their own drones, both seem possible for Venezuela LMAO.
All the shootings have ceased, it was indeed an incident of friendly fire, they mistake their own drones

update: ⚡️- "What happened in the center of Caracas was due to the flight of drones without permission," - Venezuela's Ministry of Information.
