Since when was the US a member of the EU again?

The US has always interpreted treaty obligations as its national interests require, and it would be so incredibly easy to wash their hands of any NATO commitments by arguing that as a defensive alliance, the US would only be obliged to intervene if a NATO member state was attacked without provocation. Such security assurances would thus not apply where NATO member states started a war as part of another block (EU) and launched attacks against another nation not directly attacking any NATO member states first.

The US could care less about the EU’s credibility and will not endure a nuclear war to defend the EU’s honour. As a current senior American official has said and will say again, fuck the EU.

Without the US, the EU has no means or balls to face Russia alone, especially when facing up to Russia means shooting nukes and receiving far more in reply.
Like I said it is maybe or maybe not. You can never be sure of what US would do or not. Uncharted waters....

That's the terrorist pig. Looks like he's had a few "accidents" already.

Just because you joined the Ukrainian marines does not mean you can't be a mercenary. He got sick of killing Syrians and decided to join the war in Donbass to kill civilians there. He is a foreigner with no ties to either of these conflicts, he just wanted to join wars to kill people.

Even if you overlook that he has been caught on a phonecall admitting to committing a war crime (perfidy), so there are no legal grounds for him to be held under GC rules whatsoever.

US is fighting a proxy war. If Finland gets nuked, then it was a useful idiot that must be discarded like a used condom. That is the fate of American wannabe puppets.

But I think nuking Finland pre-emptively will backfire. US/EU will likely try to strangle Russia to death economically, even seriously targeting China sanction avoidance (for realsies this time). China with it's NFU policy will have to condemn Russia if it used nukes unprovoked. It's difficult to justify Finnish NATO membership as an imminent existential threat to Russian survival necessitating a pre-emptive nuclear strike.

Shut of gas and strike EU with ballistic and cruise missiles and maybe a single nuke with a treat to go all out if EU won't stop escalating. If they are willing to retaliate so be it. What has Russia to loose at this point ? it's clearly fighting for it's live even if Putin doesn't understand that. If NATO wont retaliate. it's the end of NATO and economy wise EU won't be able to do jack shit. United states won't be in position to do either.

The fact that NATO keeps escalating and Putin just keeps doing jack shit is simply infuriating ....you would think he'd learned his lesson after more then 15 years trying to deal with NATO like a civilized person.

USAF RQ-4B currently loitering over the Black Sea near Sevastopol; where alleged recovery ships are towing the heavy missile cruiser Moskva.

If the Moskva has indeed survived the initial attack another one may occur to finish the ship; either way the Moskva is no longer an operational asset.

USAF aircraft were previously used to provide targeting data to Ukrainian missile forces for operational usage in the first strike.

Sorry so busy, folks.

A few notes. These are claims by the Russians, not by Ukraine. Like we have seen, we need to take with a grain of salt. However, given the helicopter raid on Belgorod and the recent incident on the Moskva[1], Ukraine might be getting more aggressive:

1. If the Moskva incident was caused by Ukrainian missiles, then people joking about Ukrainians attacking Moscow might want to be careful with their humor in the future!

While you're all pussydicking around about the Moskva, there's been some real movement on the eastern front lately. It looks like the Russians have captured Borova and Velyka Komyshuvakha, both in the Izium sector. There are also reports out today of heavy fighting near Lyman, which is just 10 miles from Slovyansk! This is way further out than the previous frontline around Brazhkivka and Suma Kamyankha. For that reason, I'm skeptical of these latter reports until we get some confirmation from Russian MOD and other sources on the ground.
