Well said. See the mindset? When others have their opinions, they are insecured and triggered. Whereas his opinions is measured and mature. Gee.
gatekeeper you are a hypocrite. Whenever anyone says anything about the UK you are the first to attack, your attacks are pathetic in that they are always… see the mindset, bloody anglos.

you are the hot head here, don’t you realize there are lots of anglos here, including me, that are sinophiles?

anyway, I’d appreciate that you don’t attack me anymore unless you leave YOUR bias behind.

Bowowow. It takes one to know one. Who the fxxk you calling hypocrite. You don't even know what the word means. It might double standard. You know what the western press is good at. I never ever attacked you, and I challenge you to see my post ever mentioned the words "anglo".

I've every right to attack British policy, just like you, I've the same rights you. Unless you're saying I'm not allowed to post. Now thats hypocrite.

And accusing me of being a hot head. Now thats hypocrite at it's finest. Your outburst itself shows how much of a hothead you are. I've never attacked you personally. Where have I mentioned you by name. The fact you took it personally is on you.

I'm so much of a hypocrite according to you, that I actually married an English lady for over thirty years must be hard for me to keep my anger in check according to you. Just because you are a sinophiles diesn t give you the right to have this uncalled for outraged at something with different views to yours.

You typically reminds me of the little Englanders who used to speak to us "foreigners" like this.

"If you don't like it , you can always leave". Lol so much for participation and inclusiveness.

I’m Scottish actually, oh no does this mean my people also suffered invasion, occupation and colonization?

According to you, I couldn’t imagine such a thing.

I couldn't care what you are. Scots, English, American or planet Zog. When did I mention anywhere about people suffered invasion? Gee first you accused me of attacking you, when I did no such thing. Now you're coming out with invasion, occupation and colonization?

Are you ok?

Again, I challenge you to find where did I personally attacked you by mentioned you by name?

New British Army strategy released..
“We’ve been reminded of the importance of thinking much more strategically and expansively about the relationship between defence, security and industry, about strategic resilience and the integrity of our strategic base in a much more volatile world.”

General Carleton-Smith said that the plans set out for the Army in the Integrated Review reflect “a changing character of war” and therefore “we are changing with it, including taking a significant bet on tech”.

He said: “Which is why what has emerged from the Review is a sharper, harder and more dangerous Army; a more dynamic and active global posture that leverages our network of overseas training hubs and delivers a more persistent international presence. And that means an Army that is more expeditionary and more rapidly deployable, with an emphasis on logistic sustainment; an Army that is more digitally connected and networked, and an Army that’s more specialist; and an Army that when it fights is more lethal, more mobile and much better protected.”

British Army deploying to Brunei?
Good Luck to the overstretched British Army. Their enemies strategic calculus are not static that they allow such movements unhindered or not make it uncomfortable for the British or any other Allied forces without costs. Everything that the General spelled out screams and bleeds for £££ something that the general public will have to support but in today's post-Brexit environment with dwindling £££ and cuts to important public services how are these lofty British Army goals will be fully realized? Cue: the China threat theory.

@Andy1974

You've been away from these shores for fat too long. You do realised the mess the British economy is right now. Straight out from the Brexit debacle on top of the credit crunch which we are still paying for.

Is it little wonder why the Scots want out of this miserable union with the little Englanders?

Scotland would still be miserable with or without the Union, and why would the EU accept us if our economy is worse than Greece’s was?, Pretty much the whole country works for the government so we would be immediately bankrupt.

We’d probably be left with no choice but to join the BRI lol.

Now now, that's nowhere to talk about your birth place. Besides, the EU has accepted economies that are in much worse shape than Scotland.

So by the sound of it, you're giving the Scots up to leave "Great" Britain? You're just like some of my English friends who feels that now the Scottish oil has run dry. It's no longer necessary to keep Scotland as part of the union.

And what's funny, it's the majority of tgese people are Brexiteers. These people tends to be unionists. But by theur very narrow determination to get out of EU, they might have succeeded in breaking up the union they love so much!
