Type 95 Assault Rifle II

Yep, just a regular '97 with a cool scope, and the strap-on accessory frame we had seen used on Type95s years ago.

The only things truly new are the mags and silencer. The silencer looks imported, maybe someone more knowledgable of such things can give us the make and origin.

The mag is a nice touch, with a transparent window to allow the user to get a quick idea of how many rounds are left. And it is a transparent material rather than being left open, just look at the left most mag on the first picture and see the glare on the window.

Probably Western, all of the Accessories and the sidearms are western. I know it's not KAC or AAC.
Using tracers like that is fine fore Training but in combat Tracers are rather convenient kick me signs particularly at night.

Like they say, "tracers works both ways". That's why you have a battle buddy to give the enemy something to shoot at. Beside two or three tracers go by pretty fast, that enemy shooter has to be a pretty good at spot memory of that last location of those tracers at night under combat stress to be really effective at spotting the shooter's location.

Looks like after-market attachment kit that uses the RS Type-97 airsoft as props, which'd explain how even the silencer can fit, because on airsoft gun the size of the muzzle screws comes standard, just clockwise or counter-clockwise.

Since QBZ-95 and Type-97 shares the same size of body in that area, it'd fit on QBZ-85 as well. However, MIL-STD-1913 has no GJB equivalent, and the PLA is slow in catching on optics and modular accessories, unlike the police has more freedom in getting imports, just a matter of available budgets.

What I found would be easier is to add two or three tracer rounds towards the end of your magazine to let you know either you ran out of rounds or have a few left in the magazine (depending on how you load them).

Non serious: Maybe we could have a rainbow of tracer colours from red to purple spread every 5 rounds or so apart.

Serious: Tracer might alert the enemy too. But there are no burning types of tracer rounds where there is essentially a small led at the back of the bullet. They can only be seen from the direction of the shooter but are more expensive.

Right eq those are a glock and a Beretta. I think this might be a air soft or maybe for a movie or game.

Some city's police SWAT might have enough budget to get nice imports for their guns (just a matter of zeroing), but you're right, this is not for China's domestic use - even the police use QBZ-95, not -97. The -97 is purely for export. However, the accessory attachment kit is usable on QBZ-95 as well, but primary users are police units, if seen with regular PLA outfits that usually an individual effort and from units that deploys beyond mainland. Overall, the PLA is very slow in catching the MIL-STD-1913 thing.

And most likely what you see are airsoft platforms, pictures probably taken in Hong Kong, on the ground that only there of all place in PRC can legally own airsoft.

Need not be in Hong Kong if air soft. Real sword airsoft Qbz97 is widely exported and well you cannot buy a live Qbz97 in the US or Canada (now) buying them Airsoft is legit. Same for the UK and likely Japan.
