Look way more like an age structural issue than anything else. A C-130 breaking in piece is rare but we have seen some doing so.

Someone know where are the drains to drop fuel ? Look like is dropping fuel from near the wing tips.
Yeah he was dumping fuel, the fuel jettison drains are near the wingtips, maybe from g-forces or they got time to see the breakout coming.

Hi,
how far this tragic incident happened from the war zone of Russia and Ukraine, just a thought
of may be some EW or something related with electronics
thank you
My first suspicion was if anything it may be related to South Ossetia nearby, but this is already a pretty busy air corridor and s.Ossetia - Georgia haven't had any major tensions since 2008. Ukr - Rus active war zone is 1000km away.

A similar resulting incident happened in a USMC KC-130T in 2017. Caused by pitting corrosion within the propeller blade.

Possibly this will be the same cause?

And EOTS tested on Kizilelma PT-5:

Note the afterburner take-off

I have this feeling the "S1" became PT-5 in the end...

EDIT: according to Defence Turkey Magazine, they flight tested the EOTS twice last week:

"The system, which was tested in two separate flight tests carried out at AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu last week, showed superior performance. In the tests, stable image production at different altitude and speed regimes, long-range tracking stability on moving targets and high accuracy operation of laser targeting functions were successfully confirmed. It was observed that the system provides uninterrupted data exchange with Kızılelma's integrated mission computer and maintains its performance even in harsh environmental conditions. Test results also showed that all technical criteria that paved the way for the serial integration process were met."

OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN FLIGHT TESTS
The system demonstrated outstanding performance during two separate flight tests conducted within the last week at the AKINCI Flight Training and Test Center in Çorlu. The tests successfully validated stable image generation at various altitude and speed regimes, long-range tracking stability on moving targets, and high-accuracy laser designation functions. It was confirmed that the system maintained seamless data exchange with KIZILELMA’s integrated mission computer and preserved its performance even under demanding environmental conditions. The results also showed that all technical criteria required to proceed with serial integration have been fully met.

AI-ENABLED NEXT-GENERATION CAPABILITIES
Developed with a specialized engineering approach tailored for Bayraktar KIZILELMA, TOYGUN includes optimizations unique to the unmanned combat aircraft concept. The system offers wide-spectrum scanning capabilities contributing to 360° situational awareness. Its high-resolution IR imaging enables the detection of strategic targets and moving ground/sea elements from long distances. Moreover, AI-supported target tracking and automatic target classification algorithms enhance Bayraktar KIZILELMA’s autonomous mission performance.
