Placing the jet nozzle so far ahead of the tail section is an interesting but risky choice. You gain some benefits in aircraft control but induces a high risk of heat damage from the afterburner. This is one of the many issues that F35 is currently battling with.

No it is for structural reason. By moving the slabs to the side you can attach them to booms, which will anchor the slabs and allow them to withstand air turbulence and vortices at high AOA. The latter could be so strong that the F-18 had to undergo redesign since the slabs got knocked clean off.
To better mask IR signature maybeee ?

Lmao, they made a one-off TOGG limousine for President Erdogan at the official opening of BMC tank factory:

- The new tank factory can produce 8 Altay MBT and 10 Altug IFV per month.
- Starting from end of next year (2026), Altay will be produced with BATU powerpack
- A massive team has prepared the New Altay for the future with 17.5 million hours of engineering, 35000 km of testing, and 3700 firings
