F-22 overlayed with TF-X by Buchmaru:

I don't find this CGI to be very accurate. The TF-X wingspan is supposed to be 44cm wider @14m vs 13,56. Still good to know the TF-X wing area is in the high 70's if not reaching 80m2.

Mahmut Akşit, General Manager of TEI:

At the end of 2024, we will start the official process for the civil certification of the TEI-TS1400 engine. By the end of 2024, we plan to start the first mass production of the TEI-TS1400 engine. We are now producing materials in Turkey that Roketsan, which is strictly controlled in the world, cannot buy from anywhere else. All intellectual property rights of TEI-TS1400 belong to Turkey. It does not belong to TEI.

It's a mystery to me too. Perhaps there is negligent RCS reduction gain compared to the drawback(s)? I can guess its heavier, and draggier?
Swept vertical stabilizers stall later and move the center of the yaw moment backward. This is why you see them on even ultra-light gliders. Trapezoid is less draggy except in transonic.

Speaking of the Turkish defense industry
I see three 35 mm turrets here. 1 Goker 2 Korhan. The photo is a month old.

Goker is an unmanned AA turret. Korhan is for AFVs and is unmanned again. I may write about Korhan here later if it becomes operational. The thing is basically an IFV tech splurge turret.
