And according to DefenceTurkey magazine (issue 115), The British have offered 20 secondhand T1 with new 60T3/4 and cooperation on Tempest.

The T1s aren't gonna help much, but T3/4s with Captor-E AESAs should be great, especially with the full weapons package (Meteors, ALCMs etc.).

Interesting news according to TurDef. Regardless of a possible F-16 purchase and upgrade kits from the US, Turkiye is interested in buying Typhoons.
how they are going to get new EF considering EU system.
The price for existing user is already over $100m with deliveries 4 years later. Turkiye will be looking at 2030 earliest for new built.

DefenceTurkey's article looks like clickbait. It has no source referenced. Their mfg line is already overloaded, and frankly we do not need a F4 2020 replacement immediately. Drones are doing fine.

By the way after what MTU did, i very much doubt anybody in SSM or Army will trust europans about anything significant.

I wouldn't say that a professional magzine such as DT is using clickbait.

It has no source referenced.
Thats the way secret issues like matters of defence are discussed. We'll have to take their word for it and DT has quite a good reputation on these matters, especially Ibrahim Sunnetci.

Source?

After being denied the F-35, Turkiye needs any 4+ gen fighter there is until the MMU comes to fruition. And that'll take at least another decade.

Drones are doing fine.
Not for CAP or aerial dominance at the moment. It'll take some time till the KE will achieve that capability and it is wise not to put all of the eggs in one basket.

Britain=/= EU

The Turkish MoD has expressed great interest in the Typhoon for quite some time now. To my knowledge it is SSB that has issues against a possible Typhoon deal. And as always, time will tell.

Turkiye tests new ballistic missile called 'Tayfun' reaching 561km after 458 sec of flight time:

Some say this missile was already in the inventory and the publication of it is meant as a statement. The range is weird too, it is 2x280+1 with 280km being the range of the Bora missile.

It is a matter of internal politics. I can explain the situation in detail but moderators shun that kind of talk. Let's say DT is in very good terms with AKP and follows its guidelines for press; which may lead to overlooking some facts and embellishing some of the others; and leave at that.

pmc. He wrote nearest deadline for Eurofighter is 2030; which means an overloaded production line.

Against whom? We do not have any urgent needs for a long range strike figher. Put away saber rattling for internal politics and appeasing US government; F-16 is enough for all the capabilities we need for the time being.

True, UK is not EU. But what you are missing is UK is way worse than EU when it comes to war material procurement and joint projects; from mainly unreliable to downright treacherous. Army and Navy avoid british equipment as if they are plague ridden and there is very good historical reasons for that. Air force is more liberal to its own peril.
