TÜBİTAK SAGE Energy Systems Coordinator Bülent Sümer:

“We fired up our Continuous Detention Engine for the first time yesterday, which can be used on higher echelons and spacecraft, and it worked successfully for 10 seconds.

This could be an efficient engine for future lunar missions.”

KARGI Anti-Radiation UAV developed by LENTATEK (former Vestel Savunma) was exhibited for the first time during the EFES 2022 Combined, Joint, Firing Exercise.

Developed by LENTATEK based on the needs of the Turkish Armed Forces, KARGI Anti-Radiation Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) was exhibited for the first time during the EFES 2022 Combined, Joint, Fire Exercise.

Developed entirely with national capabilities, KARGI, which hosts many firsts for the Turkish defense industry, will target radars and surface-to-air missile systems in the enemy integrated air defense.

KARGI will perform SEAD (Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses) and DEAD (Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses) missions for air defense systems. In addition, the destruction of various strategically important targets is among the tasks of KARGI.

Within the scope of the KARGI Project, which is carried out with record locality; aircraft, ground systems, navigation and automatic flight control system design and production and software were developed by LENTATEK.

LENTATEK Unveils KARGI Anti-Radiation UAV For the First Time
As a result of the efforts to localize the foreign origin components of KARGI, the first successful flight of which was carried out at the beginning of 2018, critical subsystems such as RF Seeker Head, Warhead, Flight Engine, Launch Engine (Booster), Link System, Propeller and Fuel Tank have also been fully developed nationally.

KARGI Project is carried out under the leadership of LENTATEK, in cooperation with ASELSAN, TÜBİTAK SAGE and TEI.

The PG-50 Two-Stroke Gasoline Aviation engine was developed by TUSAŞ Motor Sanayii A.Ş. (TEI) for KARGI, which will perform similar tasks like the Israeli-produced Harpy and its upper model Harop. Turkish Army has Harpy in its inventory.

As a result of intensive R&D work, KARGI will be ready for mass production this year.

According to the information obtained by SavunmaSanayiST.com, KARGI has 6+ hours of endurance, bidirectional datalink and SATCOM communication systems, and advanced capabilities such as loitering and home-of-jam during target search.

Here it finally is. The TEI-TF6000:

FU3-AtsWYAACr16

Designed in 2 years. Dry thrust 6000lb and wet thrust 10000lb. Currently in prototype production stage. This is a 1:1 Mockup

It seems to have 2 LP stages and 6 HP stages with 1 HP turbine. Afterburner not unveiled as of yet.

"The TEI-TF6000 Turbofan Engine and its derivatives can be used on different national platforms, from aircraft to ships. Designed to support the afterburner configuration, the engine will be able to reach the necessary powers for supersonic flights with the afterburner."

What is this engine going to be used for? The Hurjet engine has almost twice the power.
This is roughly the power level of the Al-222 or Honeywell/ITEC F124.
