If I remember correctly it will be ramped up to 24 per year. The TB2 had an annual production of 46 but got doubled after operation Spring Shield. But Baykar is a growing company with a new R&D facility under construction and a possible foreign production plant in Ukraine too. So depending on its succes, the production numbers might very well increase even more.

It could be just the paint job but the newly released MIUS image looks a lot different than the previous one. Is it because the LERX isn’t apparent from this angle?

The black paint makes it more difficult to see details indeed. But the thing is still in development so who knows how it will look like in the future.

Some important statements made during an interview with the director of SSB:

• We increased not only the range but also the destructive power of the ammunition used by the UAVs.
• With HİSAR-A+/O+, we formed a containment envelope up to ~20 km. On the road to SİPER, we will create a containment envelope around 70 and 100 km. Then we will rise above it in SİPER and we are heading towards a system with the S-400 level.
• Our goal is to fill all these air defense levels in 5 years.
• There are huge differences between the early day's Bayraktar TB2 and today's Bayraktar TB2.
• AKINCI will be the same.
• We started the production of some parts in the MMU project.
• Tank engine is working but we are looking beyond classical engines too (Hybrid solution?)
• We had a target drone called Lightning (Simsek). We made it into a cruise missile.
• We used our UAVs (in operations). On the other hand, our opponents got some data on their abilities. If we stop here, we'll be caught. We're working on things like how to use it more effectively.
• "Our projects continue. We have a long way to go. We have to run. We have a lot of work to do, we have to constantly look to the future to do better than we did. Rather than saying we did very well, it is more beneficial to say that we will do better than this."
