Really? I see those pop ups both popping up and down from top and bottom regardless iof I'm logged in on my PC, my iPad or mobile. In fact most annoying when you moderate since you constantly have to tap-down or -up these advertisements.

I am not a moderator but yes 100% agree they are annoying.

If it's needed for survival of the forum I understand, but they do make it less enjoyable to peruse this place I must admit.

I think the ads being served might effect different device/browser/geolocation differently. I remember seeing ads that was affecting usability last week on my mobile but now the problem seem to be resolved. The ads scroll / renders correctly.

I want to barf seeing those click-bait ads that show up at the top and bottom of the page. It's showing something about real diseases that belongs in a horror movie and I didn't even click on it. Of course the irony is the picture is probably fake to get people to click on it. Can anything be done about it because really if whoever is behind them by this forum software is okay with showing those ads then why not me give me some nudity instead because its the same kind of offense depending what side you take.

It's google ads, the host has no control over it. I'm seeing a walmart ad right now, for example. :)

You can click on the little X on the top right corner of the ad.

It wasn't one of those. It was where there was a whole bunch of sordid topics where if you click on to it, it will make you have to click to the next page to know more. This one was supposed real diseases that had a picture of someone opening their eye and it looked like what a gross mutated horror movie worm opening its mouth would look like. I saw that every time I opened this forum that day. But after I mentioned it, it disappeared.
