Top ad

Can the new popup ad on mobile (the one you can hit the arrow to collapse) be moved to the bottom instead? It's really annoying since it blocks the notification/search buttons and I'm constantly clicking the collapse arrow every time I load a new page. I understand if it generates more revenue but it's pretty intrusive imo. And I'd rather see many more ads in other locations in the normal form than like that.

Hi, can you post screenshot of what the ad is blocking?

As ad is for guests/non-members only. If you login, the ad should not be visible/loading.

Seems to be a bug. I'm also getting ads on mobile when logged in

I'm a 10+ years member but I get ad on both mobile and desktop version. However, since it generate income for the forum, I have no problem with it.

I'm fine with seeing the usual ads fixed at the top/bottom of pages too but the rolldown one that follows u when u scroll and obscures the entire top of the screen on mobile is really annoying. I think that one at least should be removed for logged in members.

I will investigate this and fix it. Logged in users should not be seeing any ads.

I'm also seeing the ads on mobile. But don't really bother me. Keep it, it generate income for webby.

Really? I see those pop ups both popping up and down from top and bottom regardless iof I'm logged in on my PC, my iPad or mobile. In fact most annoying when you moderate since you constantly have to tap-down or -up these advertisements.

Since ads generate income and the forum needs cash to keep it running, I have no problem with the ads, logged in members or visitors. It's the condition that you talk to ads providers; for example, show ads to visitors only will cost how much and how much will it cost to show ads to all?
