Russians seems serious in bringing back more A-50 AEW's
Ivanovo.jpg

The parking ramp in Ivano Severnyy airbase where 7x A-50U used to sit there for years seems to have been emptied. Clearly they can be source of parts or yeah full restoration. Ideally if they can restore them all, Russia will have 10x A-50's including all the remaining fleet of A-50's plus one A-100. Much more ideal for intensive air patrol campaign.

Footage of X-39 LMUR missiles being used during combat operations in Ukraine. The video shows a Russian M-28 helicopter using X-39 missiles to attack two buildings housing Ukrainian servicemen and drone operators of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade.
This is another attack by X-39 missiles on positions of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade; the location is not disclosed.

Russians striking deep at Ukrainian convoys towards Kramatorsk. Slavyansk and Kramatorsk are now in the 'dead zones'.

Dramatic footage of Ukrainian loitering drones striking a Kamaz fuel truck. The first drone was shot down by small arms fire, but the soldiers failed to notice the double tap tactic until it was too late. The drone hit the tanker but given the explosion, which was mostly the drone's, the tanker was already empty. The truck does not appear to be destroyed in the end, damaged likely that it is. Ukrainians have been trying to squeeze the logistics towards Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Crimea.

A scene from a Russian mobile air defense unit, allegedly filmed in Crimea. The video shows the destruction of Ukrainian drones of unknown models, possibly the An-196 "Lyuty." The unit is armed with PKM and RPD machine guns and a Soviet-made ZU-23-2 twin anti-aircraft mount. The video is edited to show active moments of the battle, including the crash of a Ukrainian drone near a group of soldiers.

The Russian army launched another missile strike on Kyiv. Footage of Russian missile strikes filmed by Kyiv residents on June 2 has been published. According to preliminary information, 20 Iskander ballistic missiles, dozens of Kh-101 cruise missiles, Tsirkon hypersonic missiles, and Geran-2 drones were used. The strikes targeted Kyiv's cargo port, Nova Poshta warehouse terminals, the Ukroboronprom building, and Civil Aviation Plant No. 410. Ukrainian media also reported hits on civilian targets.

The Russians blew the dams northeast of the city, destroying logistics arteries and the flooding water did the rest. The main artery road is still open but it's easy for Russian FPV to patrol it. The city sits on low ground while the surrounding areas to the east, especially towards Chasiv Yar, are high ground, making direct line of sight fire easy. The main high rises and the industrial areas were also taken giving the Russians staging areas and high ground for spotting.

If your $1000 FPV drone pokes down a $12000 to $100000 winged UAV, your math says you won even if the drone is lost. If the drone survived to poke another, it's a bonus.
If your drone is going down as well then might as well crash it into the target. No need for the poking mechanism. I was just curious if the intercepting drone is designed to stay airborne for repeated missions.
