The War in the Ukraine

It was claimed to be the work of Ukrainian SF, so saboteurs...

Keep in mind it could be a diversionary announcement.

When the US shot down Yamamoto they said he had been seen boarding the plane by a local islander, when in reality his itinerary had been intercepted and decoded by the US.

Ukraine has indigenous ballistic missiles with a much longer range than the Tochka-U called Hrim-2 (Grom-2). They also hit a space search radar in Crimea recently. It is possible they are keeping the use of ballistic missiles secret to avoid search, eventual detection of, and a Kinzhal strike on the bases and maintenance facilities for these missiles.

It is kind of hard to imagine SOF running around the airfield planting bombs, having them undiscovered until daytime, and then detonating them. At this point in the war it is hard to imagine an airbase being that empty and unguarded.

Another possibility is ATACMS, with SOF being used to keep their delivery secret and avoid escalation. We didn't know they had AGM-88s until the Russians posted photos of the wreckage, after all, so definitely could be more weapons being supplied that aren't listed in the public announcements.

So, Ukranans doing "diversion announcement", Russians "lying" regards of hte same thing.

Intereting. It is a kind of doublespeak ?

Anyway, the reason of the explosion is most likelly ordenance handling mishap, I gave slim chance for a miracolus Ukrainan wonderweapon.

The satellite images are out. There are clearly atleast 3 craters visible and several aircrafts destroyed and few ~damaged. Russians were even claiming no aircraft were damaged. Had they parked the aircrafts in bunkers, the damage would have been far less. It's just Russians being Russians, Cyka bylating the due caution here and there. Most of the time, they get away with, but sometimes you get stuff like this and Moskva etc. They need to treat Ukrainian armed forces as defacto NATO trained and equipped army and give due respect to the enemy for their own safety.

Russians are as much prone to bs as Ukrainians and that do that alot just like Ukrainians, Americans, EU, China, so on and so forth.

Only good thing about this forum as opposed to reddit/Twitter is that you get to see the different shades of bs and spin from all sides and reach to a conclusion that is likely to be closer to truth than than being blinded by one sided bs.

There is the possibility of an attack with drones deployed near the area, a few days ago the Ukrainian special forces did it in Sevastopol... Perhaps this time they hit ammunition depots and caused large explosions

There are no reports of missiles, no one reported sightings of arrivals or sounds of missiles... And because of the distance they had to travel, some system had to have been put on alert, since it was not a single attack, but several. ... Unless the Russian warning systems are bad enough to receive arrivals from more than 200 km and not know

It isn't that shocking.

Russia blows up 3 to 4 ukranian depots a day since March?. Ukraine is winning.

Ukraine blows up 1 or 2 depots one or twice a week but only for the last month or so?. Russia is doomed, the Ukranians will siege Leningr...St. Petersburg!

Russia blows up railway infraestructure and barracks with soldiers still in them, right up to the border with Poland?. It's just a minor loss and irrelevant

Ukraine pokes holes on a bridge in the south?. Ukraine is about to drive the Russians back to Volgograd!

Russia sieges a city?. War crimes!

Ukraine uses human shields?. Amnesty International is paid for by Putin.

Misidentify an oil reservoir in a crashed Mi-28N?. Russians are stealing a washing machine.

Ukranians are looting the bodies of killed Legionaires?. Fake news!.

And so on. So, aparently what is some sort of Ukranian massive strategic victory for one reason or another, it isn't when Russia does it, no matter how much it cripples any chances of retaking lost territory and pushes Ukraine into a ceasefire.

Makes you wonder how the US can't win against ISIS or the Taliban given how godly HIMARS are, apparently.

They released some images of a CAESAR being hit

Another HARM wreckage posted in ASB's telegram account. It seems this one mistook somebody house for an S-300 radar or something.

Someone mentioned they could be being used as makeshift Tochkas, and judging by the pictures, it seems they are right; just fire in the general direction of the russians and hope for the best.

Ukrainians have been bombing Russian civilians for months now. Not even collateral damage, they are straight up shelling cities and dropping AP mines over them.

How long is Putin going to put up with this? At the start of WW2 when the Germans started carpet bombing cities the initial allied response was to carry on attacking only military targets no matter how much the Germans attacked civilians. It didn't take long before they realised that was a suicidal plan.

Ukraine makes at least 25 arrivals in Kursk... This week has shown that it has the ability to attack well inside Russian lines

The Russian channels show a lot of dissatisfaction with their authorities, because they had assured that if Russian territory would be attacked, they would escalate the conflict, but they have been lying for 3 days, keeping silent and hiding the information
