The War in the Ukraine

In that article:

''In August 2019, only six of the remaining 62 B-1Bs were mission capable''

Outch ! It's why we need to take inventory numbers with a grain of salt. The same with MBT numbers, Ships, etc...

This is at odds with what I've seen in the 2022 GAO report.

Numbers are numbers like I said and to be taken with a grain of salt... maybe just 6 was able to do low level mission because of airframe restriction ? But boasting total numbers on a fleet is nonsense.

Like the number mig-29 transferred to Ukraine taken like they where all able to fly when probably half of them just got cannibalised to make the other able to do missions.

Same thing with MBT transferred or ammunitions. We have all seen the state of the shoulder fired anti-air missiles from Germany... It's why the number of Leopard tanks transferred are so low and take so much time. Lot of them are just busted junk and numbers are filling administrative purpose.

Numbers always look nice and great because they are define but most of these numbers are piles of rubbish.

Maybe these where in numbers listings in 2014 ? Multiple fields of them in old soviet countryside...

Real inventory of course is an issue.
Leopard actually brings back my main issue.

Pointing out that while low-level bombing might not be what Su-34 was designed for, sometimes you find new uses in the course of war.

CF dusted off Leo1 for Afghanistan because they found LAV did not have enough protection against newer RPGs and the high powered IEDs the Afghan opposition was using. Leo1 C2 with add-on armour was able to shake off most threats and basically killed the Stryker MGS concept.

Ironically the Leo2 was procured by CF in a fast fashion as Leo1 was considered EOL even by then, but now their kin are coming back to life

Her condition from the same side that supposedly hit :

It's either Russians quick at paintjob OR Ukrainians actually released the footage of the drone prior to get mow down by the KPVT. It could also probably means Ukrainian only bring 1 drone to attack and Ru MOD lies by increasing the number of the drones by 2.
How many times will people use pics only to find out later it's from another date? You're falling into the trap again. Meanwhile Russian telegram is saying this...

The video folks seem to think it's todays but it's likely from April. We're going to find out sooner or later what happened

Figures. That is why I did not post anything claiming the ship was ok or not.

The video that Ukraine (?) posted of the drone hitting the ship showed the drone slamming the ship on the side. So they showed no evidence of the drone actually damaging the SIGINT ship's hull. And if they cannot sink a small ship which only has two 14mm machine guns as protection, good luck sinking a larger ship with these drones.

5 hours flying over the area of the supposed attack.
Who knows what is really going on but anything coming out of Russian MOD can't be taken as facts. Moskva was fine and heading towards port until finally proof came out.
I cant believe im here posting again in this circus, but i wanted to ask if you knew there is a Russian vessel right now, in this area, that is doing maintanence on a gas pipeline that goes to Turkey?

Do you think its possible that Americans want to see what the Russians are doing there considering what "someone" did to Nordstream?

Perhaps there is an opportunity for "someone" to blow up another pipeline in the near future, who knows?
