A throwback to Operation Swift Retort. Based on Yankeesama’s inside sources AIM-120C did strike an MKI in 2019 but radars from a “third party source” showed that it limped back to base. He believes that they eventually cannibalized the airframe to maintain other MKIs.
So if I'm understanding this correctly, even Chinese radars corroborate that claim? Therefore Pakistan's claim was not just a typical lie like the Indian F-16?

I wonder if those 'third party sources' could also confirm May 7th shoot downs...

Despite the immediate kinetic conflict coming to an end, India has still suspended the Indus Water Treaty that risks cutting off Pakistan's critical water supply, and seems to have also increased its material support to terrorist groups; both religious and separatist in nature. This means it's very likely the two countries are going to have a military skirmish again soon. If it escalates further again, the risk of war is very real.
IWT suspension leaves Pakistan, ultimately, with only one choice - attack India. Because India can now just dam the rivers and let Pakistan run dry; they don't need to attack anymore. Pakistan will have to attack any water diversion project on the Indus. That requires a substantial change in Pakistan's military doctrine; no longer defensive.

You assume that India has the will and the money and the engineering capacity to actually dam extremely mountainous rivers in Indian controlled kashmir. And its also not about dams, its about diversion. Where are they going to put these water into? Indian punjab? Its probably going to cause flooding there. There is a reason why indus water treaty survived for so long
Its cause India likely cannot meaningfully divert these rivers. BJP is all show no substance

Don't think China will want to embarrass India any further as it will force them to retaliate against Pakistan to save face. It will not help the current situation as it might blow up again if there are no illusion of Modi and India won this round(At least in Indians own mind). Right now India can still giving out ambivalent answers to their fighter jet loss as long as no one out there can prove what happen May-7th then both side can still have their own win narrative.

We might have to wait 5-6 years from now for the leak 'third party sources' to confirm May 7th shoot downs just like Yankeesama only mention this after a period of time when things don't matter anymore as much.
