The pylon apparently is new and can only fit on Rafale.
Fug. One of the Avichina stocks listed in HK went up 6% in an hour after opening. Could have made an easy gain. Spent too much time lurking this thread instead of using the info to get more $$$. Should have thought harder about the implications,

However thing is: anyone who've spent much time fighting salafist militants will be able to tell you that it's fairly normal for them to "militarize" mosques to some extent or another.
So we have to ask ourselves: if a mosque or other religious structure is being used by armed militants as a , , , or , is it still a civilian building or is it a fair target?
... In other words, we have no conclusive proof that a Rafale was downed.
What we can say is that an aircraft carrying a MICA was downed, but in absence of knowing the definitive model of the pylon and without clear pictures of the aircraft wreckage, saying with confidence that it is a Rafale would be jumping the gun at this stage...?
