Any reason why Chinese missile defense system weren't able to take any of the missiles fired from India down?
It has been rumored that at least part of the Indian strike package involved Storm Shadow ALCMs being launched at standoff range from Rafales; in that case the limited-range HQ-9Ps would have had difficulty acquiring these targets given their terrain-hugging flight characteristic and the mountainous terrain between India and Pakistan. Just a thought.

Indian media is saying they launched at 150km which is just outside 9P range iirc.

Many Indian forums are mocking Chinese defense system for not being able to detect or even take out any standard Indian missiles.

They also say it will be hell for china if U.S rains tomahawks. Doesn't look good for Chinese defense system to be honest.

IAF's will also get crap on if those reports of 3 - 6 IAF aircraft being down own or falling out of the sky true. Just need to wait if it is now.
