Fuck this guy in particular.

Him on his instagram July 31, regarding the Tokyo Olympics:

"I get sick to my stomach everytime I see an Olympic ad on television or a post on social media. I'm a matchstick away from burning every piece of 'Olympic' memorabilia I own."

Him today: "He feels so strongly, he's considering... burning his Olympic gear in solidarity. "

This is just performative theater. He hasn't burned his stuff, and he won't burn his stuff, and he'll just keep whining to get his name in the news.

He is now a decade into retirement, so can whine sanctimoniously

Just selecting the very best Ding Liren vs Magnus Carlsen games.

Ding cooks up Carlsen in a fryer.

Ding spins Magnus in a merry go round until checkmating him with both players not realizing it was a checkmate lol. This kind of checkmate maybe only gets seen once in pro play. Magnus says he was preparing to resign, since pros usually resign before they get checkmated, but then he steps right into a checkmate before he could resign that very move LOL.

Reuters article mentioning that the WTA suspended its tournaments in china in response to the Peng Shuai situation.

Well no shows are better than having WTA tournaments in China where players and officials are taking shots at China.
Now with the suspension, how are they going to convince Chinese companies or organisations for top sponsorship monies without backing down?
The ban actually make the situation worse for all parties concerned with out solving any underlying problems or misunderstandings. WTA taking such action and behaviors show very poor management and organisation skills both for the association and its players.
