well your army is weird then, maybe you should tell DoD to change the rules.
besides, this is not basic training, i am pretty sure singaporean army would allow cameras in advanced training sessions.
Hi, I just finished my National Service in Singapore. During my 2 years in the army, they would always remind us not to bring any camera or camera phone into camp. I know some guys who were charged for doing that. Their stand is that with such pics online, terrorists could use it for intel to do damage.
Anyway, I was an instructor in basic military camp.
