LAMO!! I'm only 56:)...

I served from 1971 to 1991.. And to be honest. I don't remember how we folded our underwear and socks back in boot camp. So far your gear looks squared away!

U could actually bring a camera into camp and shoot photos? Back in my national service days in Singapore, we could not do it at all... and in recent years, I heard from my younger brother who is serving his National Service duties, he said that he couldn't even bring a camera phone into camp.

well your army is weird then, maybe you should tell DoD to change the rules.

besides, this is not basic training, i am pretty sure singaporean army would allow cameras in advanced training sessions.

Hi, I just finished my National Service in Singapore. During my 2 years in the army, they would always remind us not to bring any camera or camera phone into camp. I know some guys who were charged for doing that. Their stand is that with such pics online, terrorists could use it for intel to do damage.

Anyway, I was an instructor in basic military camp.

Well... sometime I really wonder... what infor can terrorists get from a few photo. Maybe they could set restricted area, whereby no one can take any photos and other area might be open up.

Actually, I doubt it very much. I was in a logistic camp once (a few years ago) when they recall us back for a day, the guards are checking us to see if we have any camera phones in our possession.

Seriously I think we are overdoing things man.
