Iranian Claimed 2 years ago to have launched a 5th gen fighter program called F313, then nothing especially after people looked over the photos and found the huge flaws like a Painted on Fighter display, Intakes to small to work, No Exhaust Nozzle, and that the cockpit was to small for an adult sized human to sit in with the Canopy closed. so what happened then? a release of obviously photoshopped images, video of a flying model airplane then 2 years of nothing.
until earlier this week then this "Taxi test" was posted and claims of production.

Precisely why SAC thinks there's a market, *BUT* if you're the KSA or Pakistan a Chinese stealth fighter would be a big commitment, and they'd need to make sure all their ducks are in a row first. A *lot* of detailed planning and study would need to be done first to make sure this is the right move for their needs, and that takes a lot of time and conversation, especially when the arms relationship and the platform are all new. This will take time.

It is huge problem to be able to build aicrafts but not engines ! so possible numbers we see whose a part wacky will not be realized, for Y-20 annouced many but a majority of civil variant...

its a mock-up of Iranian concept for 5th gen jet .... currently there is no further detail is available in public domain & program seem stagnant (I may be wrong about its progress) as it was shown during the last days of President Ahmadinejad government (2012 or 2013)

I am not trying to undermine Iran on this but on personal ground I think its quite impractical to expect anything in 5th gen category form Iran, beside this the jet design itself look impractical, unconventional & ambiguous ....
