I really don’t understand how you think the CIA works, Nepal has been in a shitty state for a long time, like 20% of their economy is remittance. When you have most people making hardly any at all, and politicians and their children owning hotels and shit, people will get angry.

My speculation is that this could be a step toward bringing Saudi into China's defense intelligence umbrella, which Pakistan already has access to.

This podcast from a few months ago comes to mind. UAE and Saudis were the prime suspects at the time.

There's been fairly public chatter — — that Saudi Arabia would be able to procure nuclear weapons from Pakistan at will should circumstances necessitate such a strategic capability.

Considering what Saudi officialdom has to mainstream Western media regarding its new with Pakistan:
