Rocket minelayers aren't new, and the Russians have had them for at least 50 to 60 years.

Russia has such stuff for a very long time.
New model of launcher-rearm all-in-one lightweight MLRS by Norinco. Notice the chassis.
If that is gonna end up somewhat widely adopted.
That configuration must really have some noticably/worthy increases in capabilities/specs to justify increased complexity/cost.
Or they found new methods to decrease cost/complexity for building such a configuration.
Or maybe a bit of both.
