We get a lot of weather reports from various members in the "Real Life," thread. I thought it would be good to put them into a single thread in the future.
This is a place where members from around the world can let us know about weather conditions where they live, and post pictures of significant weather events they witness.
Pics form members around the world regarding the weather they witness would be a neat thing for all of us to be able to see.
I will start with some pictures of our early snow storm here in SW Idahpo that is still ongoing.
Although all of Idaho has pretty strong winbters, SW IDaho near the capitol of Boise is usually considered the "banana belt," of Idaho. winters are not qutie as extreme in the valleys here as they are in most other parts of the state. Thught ey would still be judged very cold by many other standards.
Anyhow, we got a forecast a few days ago of an early snow, maybe 1-3 inches. It has turned into quite a boit more than that with my own area now at 10" of snow on the ground. I took the following pictures on my way to work this morning:
A home near our house around 7:15 AM this morning
Entry to a subdivison near our home
Driving along the road to work
Snow accumlation in Wild Rose Park, near where I work
Snow fall at Black Canyon Dam, where my office is located.
Our home this morning as I left.
Look forward to hering of and seeing the weather where our members live!
