Short term. Then again when F35A was earlier block it cost as much as current early F15EX. My point is the 30million dollar figure doesn’t make any sense at all. It sounds much like claims of the cost of SU57 or Armata costing fractions of current equivalent.
Don't know about short term, contract prices for F-15 are quite steady(and slowly rising), it's actually F-35 which is still gaining economies of scale. If anything, F-15E development cost(FbW adaptation) was already essentially absorbed by export customers...
+as I've mentioned earlier, 30 mil USD = 2.2 billion rubbles = ~63 mil USD in 2014. Exchange rate doesn't affect Russian arms industry in any significant way.

Have salaries in Russia and the cost of living increased since 2014?

Salaries didn't change much, cost of living increased substantially.
But we're talking different things. Consumer goods and a lot of other stuff comes from abroad, and is directly affected by exchange ratios.
Military industry, on the other hand, is *largely* self-sufficient.
Not completely, but significant parts of value chains are within Russian borders.

Short term as This year the USAF less than a handful. As the program expands prices drop right now F15EX is high as The USAF bought units pushing out production for Saudi contract fighters. In theory once the export ends then the price drops as the USAF takes the line.
However the problem I see here is best case the 30million dollar mark is for serial production unit #600 Assuming no issues. IE last off the line having spread production, R&D out over a couple decades. Not realistic until that point. Much how people derided F35 for costing hundreds of millions at the start. Today has dropped to 70 million for F35A but that’s again higher due to price of production, continuing R&D, as well as buying spots of production. I mean 30 million US is the price of a G550 business jet.

With all due respect, it is the same thing.

Russian engineers need to be paid, as do pilots, software developers, even the guys who dig the metals out of the ground. Russia is a big country and is very self sufficient, but unless your prepared to give up cars, phones, computers, food you can't ignore the effects of inflation.

Yep, and they're getting paid in rubles, not in USD. Furthermore, wast majority of these jobs aren't exactly known for high income within Russia.

for comparison i pulled Hyundai Creta 2.0 4WD fully loaded version built near Saint Petersburg to make sure it has all the expensive electronics and high quality interior. The price top out at $25K. and it has alot of features for cold countries. that will cost over $50K in Canada.
The basic version is $16,000 is both in China and Russia. and Chinese version does not get bigger engines.

this is not fair comparision, aerospace industry in any country is no way even close to the efficiency of the car industry, the car industy is the most automatic industy and one of the most efficent industy we human has today...

compare with car industry the aerospace industry is pretty much handicraft level...

how can you tell?

Automated industry is very expensive to implement latest German and Korean plants easily can cost several billions but there is huge industrial chains behind it. i doubt high performance or 3Peak tires are cheap to manufacture without expensive plant. infact Airplane tires only French Michelin dominate.
The point i am making is that Korean plant in Russia makes equally or better equipped vehicles with bigger engines despite much lower volumes at competitive prices.

Aerospace is most prestigious industry in Russia. well integrated under Rostec with state support. there is Putin picture from MAKS 1999 airshow. thats why following this aerospace industry is so interesting. if planes are not enough in fire fighting. increase the capacity of chopper. its all based on practical experience.
