Looks like the Russians are escalating their involvement in Ukraine . . .

Is there any concrete proof to support such a claim?

Are there any identifiable and verifiable satellite images which show actual Russian Federation Military crossing the international border?

The way I understand this, claims can only be made with certifiable evidence. That lends credibility to a perceived imminent threat or actual invasion.

When the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, the entire world saw it.

Proof is in the pudding, poroshenko ...... without proof, it's just called "War Hysteria"!!

Two Akula K-391 'Bratsk' and K-295 'Samara' transfered for modernization from Vilyuchinsk in the Kamchatka to Severodvinsk, Zvezdochka shipyard,Russian MOD no longer has confidence to the Pacific shipyards...
Bratsk was inactive.

Interesting to see the different propeller arrangements. I guess these are different models of the Akula?

If you read the second link it runs through the evidence. Here is a bit more that was provided.

As far as the Russians openly stating they're intentions I don't see that happening. It's an open secret that the Russian military is supplying the rebels with equipment, logistics, and "retired" soldiers. Putin has no need to openly invade the Ukraine when doing it subversively is working just fine.

All that being said I don't see NATO or anyone else doing much about it besides holding drills and other posturing to reassure allies.

No same models, Akula I the two, exist only 3 Akula II : Vepr, Gepard belongs to Northern Fleet and Nerpa / INS Chakra lease to India for 10 years.

Easy for recognize a Akula II don' t have this bulb above the upper part of the rudder it housing the towed sonar.
