Those parked Su-35s at KnAAPO in 2022 were the Egyptian order. Which was never delivered because of the US strong arming Egypt by threats of applying to them CAATSA sanctions were they to get those aircraft. So those aircraft were just piling up there at the plant. The Indonesian Su-35 order was cancelled for similar reasons.

The Su-35 uses 2000s level chip technology which the Russians can manufacture themselves. The Su-35 was introduced into service in 2014 and uses chips which are like a decade older. So the article's insinuation that manufacture of those aircraft depends on chip imports is totally off the mark.

This end of 2023. not 2022 nothing to do with any foreign order. All aircrafts are built on current standard take into account experience of Ukraine. Su-57 has separate line and its numbers built depends on supply chain.

already mentioned new production line in 2023 (i think this contribute to 40% increase in production of Su-35 over 2022) and new facilities for serial production in 2024 for Su-57. and they are hiring 800 more people.
once you remove SSJ production two years late. it gives a big boost to figher. There is another more important point. due to 24/7 use of Su-35 in Ukraine. Russian will prefer new built sooner with upgrades. There is no way current production line of Su-57 can fulfill replacement. than another point VKS will rather have two seat Su-34 than Su-30. Su-34 much more capable.
Su-34 was two times mentioned in RT Arabic. first time was about long range cruise missile like Kinzal and now again with precision glide bomb FAB3000.

It is especially emphasized that this applies to both the Su-57 and Su-35S. It is noted that the aircraft were assembled on a new production line created at the aircraft plant in the context of expanding serial production volumes. The previous batch of Su-57 fighters was handed over to the military at the end of September. The head of the UAC, Yuri Slyusar, announced the upcoming renewal of production. He emphasized that already in 2024, as part of the implementation of promising technical re-equipment projects under the state program for the development of the military-industrial complex, new facilities for the serial production of the Su-57 fighter will be launched.

The Su-57 has a separate production line. But the Su-57 and Su-35 are produced under the same roof inside the same building.

This was supposedly the original production plan for that fighter factory at KnAAPO:

The Su-35 Client #1 was likely Egypt, and Client #2 was likely Indonesia. Indonesia cancelled their order early buckling under US pressure. The orders for Egypt were produced but they were never delivered.

Su-57 production was also sped up and not like what is in that table. For example production last year in 2023 was probably 12 aircraft, and it was likely 8 aircraft the year before that.

Original production plan does not have much relevance. They announced last summer two fold increase for all the non stealth aircraft. but since both MS21 and SJ are delayed by two years based on 2024 announements. than much more industrial production component and final assembly will shift towards Su-35 since its a single seater and it got new production line with 40% increase over 2022. there is no such announcement regarding Su-30 production increase.
I havent seen any video or picture from inside where Su-35 are next to Su-57 in production. unless Su-57 is produced closer to 100 a year i am sticking with higher Su-35 forecast.

Rostec announced a twofold increase in the production of Su-30, Su-34 and Su-35 for the needs of the army

This number of Su-35 disclosed last summer. i presume at that time any export built Su-35 were not part of VKS inventory since they were not delivered. so if you add those 29 park outside at end of 2023. this already 150 Su-35 in VKS.

The Su-35 4++ generation fighter was developed by the Sukhoi Design Bureau in the late 2000s. as the most profound modernization of the Su-27 fighter. To date, about 120 such machines have been ordered and delivered for the Russian Aerospace Forces, and 24 have been exported to China.

The Russian diesel-electric submarine "Volkhov", project 636.3 "Varshavyanka", of the Pacific Fleet, fired from an underwater position with a "Caliber-PL" cruise missile. The shooting was carried out at a coastal target in the Khabarovsk Territory, the firing range exceeded 1000 km. Kalibr-PL cruise missiles are placed in 533 mm torpedo tubes of submarines. “The Kalibr-PL missile is a missile torpedo, first the torpedo is launched, after which the torpedo part is removed and then the missile flies in the air. The Volkhov submarine was launched in 2019 and has a crew of 52 people.

Russian repair units have published an episode of the installation of a turret with a 30-mm 2A72 cannon from a Russian BTR-82A armored personnel carrier on a Ukrainian abandoned BWP-1 infantry fighting vehicle. The BWP-1 infantry fighting vehicle is a Polish copy of the Soviet BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle, it was produced since 1967 and was subsequently modernized. Ukraine received about a hundred of these machines from Poland.

Russia has created a prototype of an interceptor drone. The Tarantula Birdcatcher drone was developed by Altai intelligence officers and is equipped with trap nets to intercept UAVs. In the video you can see how this drone works. The trap is not fired forward, but downwards, which makes it possible to confidently intercept only hovering drones; it will be more difficult to intercept moving UAVs. The new drone is being tested, there is no technical information, and funding is needed for serial production.

What Russia really needs is some sort of software to allow FPV drones to recognize targets and guide themselves towards them, turning them into an even cheaper Lancet essentially. This would drastically reduce the need for FPV pilots which would free up their skills for more important or more specialized tasks.
