The south of Russia was covered by the Parodist radio-electronic complex. The Ministry of Defense has begun deploying the latest electronic warfare (EW) complex. The novelties are already being received by the Southern Military District. The system works on radar and communication systems of aircraft. Experts note that Russian developments are considered advanced and are modernized taking into account combat experience.
New "Parodist"
The decision to equip the troops with the latest Parodist electronic warfare system has been made , sources in the military department told Izvestia. The first samples have already been sent to the electronic warfare units of the Southern Military District.

Parodist is one of the most secret electronic warfare systems. It is designed to suppress the operation of aircraft
onboard radars, as well as aviation communication systems and ACS (automatic control systems). There are no characteristics of the complex in the public domain; it is not even known what it looks like. According to military expert Alexei Leonkov, Russian developers have succeeded in creating perfect electronic warfare systems for various purposes.
Last year, it was reported about the formation of entire EW battalions in the formations of the Western Military District. They must protect troops, social and industrial facilities from high-precision weapons. The battalions are equipped with complexes capable of suppressing enemy GPS systems, communications and navigation.
Today, the development of marine modular mobile EW systems is underway. They can be easily installed on open deck areas. The system should reliably protect naval forces from anti-ship missile strikes. Project 22160 patrol ships of the Vasily Bykov type will be the first to receive the novelty . The new system will be installed in standard 40-foot sea containers, which will make it easy to mount it on the deck of various representatives of the surface forces of the Russian Navy.

some people debated in past with me here about Sukhoi SuperJet speeds. here its sustained speeds of 550mph and touching 600mph. this like flying in wide body plane. This special government version of the plane so it will be heavy with luxury seating. Boeing planes used to have higher speeds than Airbus this was once mentioned in Mideastern airlines. newer model may have closed the gap.
It is very similar with IL96 but that plane has steep climb to 40k feet gaining that 600mph speed much earlier. recent Southern Africa to Moscow 6200 mile trip in less than 12 hours and that include time in takeoff and landing from higher altitudes.

Overview of the Russian modernized self-propelled guns Msta-SM2 2S33. In Russia, they are increasing the production of the modernized self-propelled guns "Msta-SM2". The upgraded 2S33 self-propelled guns have significant design differences, a new automated fire control system is installed on it, and the aimed rate of fire has been increased to more than 10 rounds per minute. The use of digital electronic maps significantly accelerated orientation on the ground and increased the speed of deploying the gun in position by 2 times. Thanks to the modernization of the self-propelled guns, the Msta-SM2 can easily be aimed at targets that receive data from the UAV. The new automatic fire control system increased the guidance speed by 1.5 times. The self-propelled guns now have the "simultaneous fire attack" function, when several self-propelled guns fire at once from different positions. SAU 2S33 is equipped with a 2A65 152-mm gun. The howitzer is equipped with a programmable loading system and can fire high-explosive fragmentation, active-rocket jammers, as well as Krasnopol high-precision guided munitions at a distance of up to 29 km. Ammunition ACS 50 shells. ACS "Msta-SM2" develops speed up to 60 km/h and has a cruising range of more than 600 km.

Russian armored vehicle BTR-D with a mining system PCM-1 Wind-M. Footage of the use of a Russian home-made mining machine based on the BYRD armored vehicle has been published. The mining machine is equipped with the Soviet remote mining complex PCM1 "Wind-M" developed in the 60s. PKM-1 is designed for the operational installation of anti-personnel and anti-tank minefields at a distance of up to 35 meters with a dispersion ellipse up to 20 meters long and up to 10 meters wide. When an electrical signal is applied to the mine launcher, the expelling charge ignites in the cassette, and the mines are scattered from the armored vehicle. The BYRD was created on the basis of the BMD-1 armored vehicle and was put into service in 1974, we previously talked about it. On the basis of the BTR-D, a whole family of combat vehicles was created.
