HI AFB other than a clearly failing memory, all is fine.
Had a big downsize for my house move two years ago (crossed the border to South Wales, so now offically a Taff!)
Funny thing was that mainly my stuff went but not Mrs S's o_O!
Sorry to hear you lost the old Yammy - got anything to replace it?
Actually this last year has been the most prolific of my entire life for music. It wont be anything like for this coming year
Fortunately a local rock DJ has taken a shine to my work and has been giving me quite a bit of airplay on all the shows he hosts.

and a big congratulations on your music, it is indeed a pristine clean sound Brother, I definitely enjoy listening to it.

No replacement for the Yammie yet, but I may check out an electric piano for the Honey Badger, I should have shipped that Yammie to you Bub!
My lartest complete offering "The Vikings Revenge" is available on Bandcamp

Been a while since I updated all of you as to the goings on in my own personal universe, I have some good news and some bad news.
The Good News. I've gone Blonde! Back in August, I finally took the plunge and had my hair bleached (professionally) and coloured (at home) so now, given my penchant for wearing black, I look like a Pint of Guinness! Well it worked foe Rutger Hauer (RIP) and I'd been thinking about doing it for years. Glad I did!View attachment 54397
The Bad News Apparently, according to the Quacks, I'm in Kidney Failure as a result of long term damage from my Diabetes. I'm down to about 20% function and when it drops to below 14% (probably about 6 months), then I start Dialysis, and go on the Transplant list. Currently feeling pretty chilled about the whole situation, but then I was 'born without the panic gene', so life goes on.

Sorry to hear about the kidney issue. On the bright side you now look like a LOTR character.

Good luck and take care of yourself.

Yesterday we bought a 2017 Toyota Camry SE online. This morning we went to pick up our new ride. It only had 8036 miles (12933km) on the odometer when we picked it up. Very nice car.

Congrats. We recently got a Camry as well and our old car is a Camry model 2004. It keeps going like the energizer bunny.

Japanese cars have a good rep for reliability over here. A friend of mine, having been stung by a couple of second hand cars that turned into money pits due to design faults (including one needing a new engine within weeks of purchase, and being caused by a design flaw you cannot get replacement engines anywhere) asked around for what car to get that would be close to maintenance free. A Honda as it turned out, and they've been very happy together ever since!

I've always had Fords myself, but older ones that are well run in and bigger ones as I don't fit in small cars at 6'3" and neither do my guitars and amps! Current car is a 2003 plate Ford Mondeo 2.0l ZETEC Estate (station wagon) that I've had nearly five years and is still going strong! 53 Mondeo 2.0 estate 01a.jpg 53 Mondeo 2.0 estate 06.jpg 53 Mondeo 2.0 estate 07.jpg Actual pictures of my car, "The RUSSMobile!"

By the way, not sure if you've noticed, but your steering wheel is on the wrong side... :p:D:eek:

Have you ever noticed in cop shows and movies when there is a car chase the pursuing car driver blasts away with a handgun but never hits anything? That's because he's sitting on the WRONG side of the car (the left) for a usually right handed person to aim properly. In fact that's why we do it the other way round this side of the pond. In the days of stage coaches travelling between towns and cities (pre industrial revolution, well let's face it pre America!), the custom was to pass a carriage or rider coming the other way to their and your right, so that if they had hostile intent you could draw your sword or flintlock with your right hand to defend yourself.

Americans drive on the right because of the Teamsters, back in the day, they drove a cart and horses by riding one of the team of horses on the left, as the cart usually had no seat (Hollywood make believe again). You'd sit on the left to hold the reins in your right hand predominantly and so the custom to pass others to your left became established. Now you know!
