Just in case anyone has any doubt, no it is not sad at all to show off the waifu future girlfriend you found on a military internet forum's Google ad in the "real life" thread on the very same forum.

I got you mate!

Is there a specific brand you can suggest, shouldnt be 100€ a bottle but something more refined would certainly fit the occasion, it's not everyday that Abe gets shot at.

Also does ricewine taste good, or Soju Baijiu and stuff?

Rice wine is good if you enjoy south European fortified wine like Sherry. But good luck in finding good quality rice wine in smaller Asian markets. For years I had to cook Dongpo pork with Madeira because I couldn't find good rice wine at my local Asian market.

70% of people in Singapore wear an Under Armour T-shirt or bag. 50% wear both an Under Armour T-shirt AND bag at the same time. If I see another Singaporean thinking he is Captain Americano, I will set his apparel on fire.

The lack of creativity, originality, and innovation in dress sense is crazy. It's actually worse than having everyone wear Mao suits. I'd rather see Singaporeans all be wearing the same Mao suit instead of some Under Armour shit that they think makes them look cool because of proximity to whiteness.

I try to speak with a normal, non singlish accent. This means I cannot talk with locals as I will unconsciously adopt their lingo. Singaporeans are a generally unpleasant people to be around anyway, so this suits me just fine.

I don't like Koreans. They somehow see themselves as the ubermensch Aryans of Asia despite having historically been the punching bag of both China and Japan. However in this case they are right: Singaporeans look like sh*t because they put zero effort in dressing up. I'm not sure how to remedy this problem though, because those who do put in effort somehow look even worse.

Two additional comments

If you have an native-English accent (eg. American, British), it works very well in Singapore.

After WW2, the South Korean government adopted a racial purity narrative as their government philosophy. This was basically copied from the previous colonial government run by Fascist Japan. South Korea is very different now, but the older generation still have very different attitudes on racial purity than the younger generation

Just tested positive for COVID via a rapid antigen test, which means I have to isolate at home for the next seven days.

I first had symptoms (sore throat) develop two days ago (Saturday) and did a rapid antigen test that morning and PCR test in the evening, both of which came back negative. I should've done a RAT Sunday as well. If that had come back positive my isolation period would've ended one day earlier. I put too much faith in the "gold standard" PCR test I guess. I have had four doses of the Pfizer vaccine, though the most recent dose was only last week, probably just prior to infection. Saturday night was the worst of it in terms of symptoms, with aching muscles and joints, hot and cold flushes, sore throat. Since then there have been mild improvements, though I've picked up the occasional cough, excess mucous production in exchange for generally feeling a bit better. Still, at this rate it seems likely that I will be ok.

Fortunately, under considerable pressure the Australian government has
