So Chinatown? I'll go and get myself some awesome and cheap fuel!
Let us know if it is still at that price.. There are apparently five or sic stations in various parts of Texas selling at that price right now and is the cheapest price in the State as of day before yesterday.

There's a site called GasBuddy that I found that will give you the cheapest price and its location in any city.

Oklahoma has even cheaper gas with one station near Oklahoma City at $1.29.

Depending on the region I currently pay between €0,92 & €1,00 (in the evening, it's generally more expensive in the morning) for a liter of diesel. Or between $3,80 & $4,12 /gal.
I think regular is at around €1,30/l or $5,36/gal. Which is really cheap here. Around 50% of that are taxes.

A few years ago, diesel and regular were almost the same. Recently, I've read a report stating that with low oil prices and rising gasoline use, the increased "regular" production for use in the US is acompanied by increased amounts of available diesel, wich is a by-product. With that not being used in the US there's an overproduction of diesel, yielding even lower prices.

Yep, I have GasBuddy on my phone and saw the station with $1.36 last night. Looks like it is the cheapest one in Houston.

Are these loss leaders, what else do they sell to make up it.Over here a lot of Gas stations operate like Cafes and Mini Mart. One can buy a whole host of things, other than spark plugs, radiator hoses or break pads.

Today I paid a cool $1.61 for unleaded plus which here in Iowa is a 10% ethanol blend

Same here in the US. Most gas stations these days are convenience stores.

That's the cheapest gas prices I'd ever heard. In Cambodia, those cartels refuse to reduce gas prices with whatever excuses they can make. I have "road-side" filling for $22 per 30 liters which translate into $0.73 per liter. Price at gas station is around $0.85 per liter. LPG is half of that price.

Cheapest gas in the world is Venezuela at $0.05 cents/gal.
