My favorite NFL team is very close to moving to Los Angeles. that would be the San Diego Chargers.

I've been a Charger fan since 1978..back in the Air Coryell/Dan Fouts era. And now looks like they will be moving to the LA area..

So sad. Well I won't shed a tear. I've maintained my loyalty to da' Bolts even though I've lived in Iowa for the last 11+ years. Life goes on.

I have all my Chargers gear stacked and ready for that fateful trip to the Goodwill as soon as the official move is announced. My inventory includes;

1 Winter Charger Jacket
1 Lightweight Charger Jacket
1 Charger zip-up hoodie.
1 Charger team apparel shirt
1 Charger lunch box
3 Charger coffee thermos's
1 Charger Blanket
1 Charger pillow
1 4ft x 2.5ft Charger flag

Yep that's right a flag...

I have a cap I bought in the mall of America back in '07 but it is to beat down to give away. In the trash it will go.

The interesting thing that is all this gear were gifts from my sons and step-daughters for birthdays and Christmas. and I appreciate those gifts. They have served their purpose.

In the meantime folks here are lighting torches and sharpening their pitchforks ready to take on Stan kroenke and the Rams.

Mr Kroenke plan for the Rams ,NFL and stadium events and all the cash he has blew away the owners at the meeting in Houston.

Meanwhile my team..is still the SAN DIEGO Chargers for at least another year. In that time perhaps they can work a stadium deal with the city and county San Diego.

Now we know what a "Scape Goat" is??? Goodbye Goats! I did enjoy the Warner years, and was glad to see him do well when he went to the Cardinals, kinda proved he was more than he ever got credit for?

Oh boy, now it appears that the Raiders will be playing in TEXAS (San Antonio) when their stadium lease had expired.

Well, popeye, as I said on the other thread...hehehe...despite their problems, I am still a Cowboys fan.

I was a young kid when the franchise started. At the time Dallas had two teams. The Dallas Cowboys, and the Dallas Texans (AFL).

The Texans later left and became the Kansas City Chiefs. But the Dallas Cowboys were always my team...Tom Landry, "Tex" Schram, Dandy Don Meredith, "Bullet" Bob Hays, Leroy Jordan in the 60s, ...oh, those were the days! Those two Green Bay games (who can forget the Ice Bowl?), and the Pittsburg games in the 70s and the immaculate reception!

Then the heady days in the 90s with three super bowl victories in four years. Troy Aikman, Emmett Smith...trouncing poor old Buffalo twice...my, my, my, how time does fly!

According to the article you posted their lease is expired. I know a few weeks ago the city of Oakland attempted to get da' Raiders to agree to a two year lease. More than likely hoping any stadium issues can be solved in that time.

As for my Chargers. In order for them to play in LA(BOO HISS!!!) in 2016 they have to make a decision by March 23rd. If they don't, they have until January 2017 to work out some stadium deal with the city of San Diego.

In my prediction I don't think the San Diego Chargers are leaving to LA anytime soon. It's the RAMS for sure and possibly a second stadium co-ownership the RAIDERS are moving to LA.

Okay...I finally found a couple fo stations around Boise for $1.99 per gallon of regular unleaded.

But then a friend in Houston told me he was getting it down there yesterday for...$1.36 per gallon!

That is sweet.

I use about 12 gallons per week. $2.00 a gallon difference means a difference of $25 per week, or over $1,300 per year.

I like to see the prices down low like this...if maintained, it will also mean less prices for everything that is delivered by truck or train...which IMHO offsets some of the other issues.

Which part of Houston? I'm still getting about $1.79 to $1.89/gallon around the Med center.
