I’m assuming this is happening to reduce hearing loss? I really don’t love the idea of giving the PLAGF silencers for every soldier, hopefully these troops are well trained enough to understand the effect it will have on the cleaning schedule required.

Suppressors are most important in regular combat in helping to minimise the fireball and dust signature of firing to make it much harder for opfor to pinpoint shooters for effective return fire and suppression. This is a valuable lesson learnt in Ukraine where both sides’ soldiers prioritise getting suppressors over every other attachment including optics. That’s why you see lots of AKs with iron sights and cans.
And you really show your own lack of knowledge and bias against the PLA with that silly and utterly unwarranted dig about clear schedule.
